Como ya os contamos, a principios de mayo, nuestros estudiantes de CFGB tuvieron la fantástica oportunidad de disfrutar de un viaje Erasmus+ a L’Aquila, Italia. Tras esta enriquecedora experiencia y habiendo forjado nuevas amistades, llegó el momento de devolverles la hospitalidad y recibir a nuestros compañeros italianos en nuestro centro. Durante la semana del 19 al 23 de mayo tuvimos una visita muy especial.

¡Toda la Formación Profesional se volcó en la preparación y en la semana de Erasmus, una tarea que asumimos con gran responsabilidad y entusiasmo!

Días de conexión y aprendizaje mutuo

Desde el día de su llegada, nuestra clase se dedicó por completo a preparar su visita. La mañana transcurrió entre el conocimiento mutuo, con un gran interés por las culturas y costumbres de cada uno. Fue un día excelente donde congeniamos y nos divertimos mucho conociéndonos.

Los días siguientes en clase fueron muy satisfactorios. Les mostramos nuestra forma de trabajar en las Comunidades de Aprendizaje, a través del diálogo y en grupos interactivos. Preparamos actividades específicas de nuestra familia de FP, Servicios Administrativos, junto con nuestro profesorado.

Además, durante toda la semana, profundizamos en la Unión Europea: cuándo se constituyó, qué significa pertenecer a ella y observamos la cantidad de nacionalidades distintas en el grupo, dándonos cuenta de lo parecidos que somos. Esta experiencia nos sirvió para conocer otros países, romper prejuicios, dialogar con compañeros de otras naciones e incluso situarlos en el mapa.

Explorando Nuestra Historia y Entorno

También tuvimos la oportunidad de enseñarles nuestro barrio y su historia. Les preparamos una visita a L’Almoina para que conocieran la historia de la ciudad de Valencia. Subimos a las Torres de Serranos y entramos al refugio de la calle Serranos para que pudieran conocer parte de la historia de España. Para finalizar, les acompañamos a conocer L’Albufera, su historia y la importancia de respetar el entorno de este Parque Natural.

Nos sentimos inmensamente orgullosos de todo lo que preparamos como anfitriones, y muy satisfechos al ver que se fueron muy contentos y agradecidos.

As we shared, in early May, our CFGB students had the fantastic opportunity to enjoy an Erasmus+ trip to L’Aquila, Italy. After this enriching experience and having forged new friendships, it was time to return their hospitality and welcome our Italian companions to our center. During the week of May 19th to 23rd, we had a very special visit. All of the Vocational Training department dedicated themselves to the preparation and the Erasmus week, a task we embraced with great responsibility and enthusiasm!

Days of Connection and Mutual Learning

From the day of their arrival, our class fully committed to preparing for their visit. The morning was spent getting to know each other, with a great interest in each other’s cultures and customs. It was an excellent day where we clicked and had a lot of fun getting to know one another.

The following days in class were very satisfying. We showed them our way of working in Learning Communities, through dialogue and interactive groups. We prepared specific activities from our Vocational Training family, Administrative Services, along with our teachers.

Additionally, throughout the week, we delved into the European Union: when it was formed, what it means to belong to it, and we observed the number of different nationalities in the group, realizing how similar we are. This experience helped us to learn about other countries, break down prejudices, dialogue with peers from other nations, and even locate them on the map.

Exploring Our History and Surroundings

We also had the opportunity to show them our neighborhood and its history. We prepared a visit to L’Almoina so they could learn about the history of the city of Valencia. We climbed the Serranos Towers and entered the refuge on Serranos Street so they could learn part of Spain’s history. Finally, we accompanied them to visit L’Albufera, its history, and the importance of respecting the environment of this Natural Park.

We feel immensely proud of everything we prepared as hosts, and very satisfied to see that they left very happy and grateful. We eagerly await the next edition!
