The project’s general objective is to design an innovative methodological framework based on movie making and aimed at children at serious risk of social exclusion, with special emphasis on female and non-binary students.
We may identify the following specific objectives that contribute to achieving the general one:

1. To promote social inclusion through movie making.
2. To design an innovative methodological framework based on short movies and series production that merges Constructionism, the Theory of Social Learning, interdisciplinary focus, STEAM approach, Multiple intelligences theory and student-centred pedagogy.
3. To provide access to digital technology related to audiovisual production, graphic design and app design.
4. To develop creativity skills among target groups with fewer opportunities.
5. To foster environmental awareness through audiovisual production.
6. To reduce absenteeism and early school drop-out.
7. To improve English language skills.

The first specific objective is clearly linked to the first horizontal priority and the third topic: its basic idea is to provide learning environments based on movie production in which target groups at risk of social exclusion may productively interact with mainstream students.

The second specific objective addresses the same issues that define the school education priority: tackling learning disadvantages from the pedagogical perspective and by implementing an innovative approach that relies on effective collaboration, creative outputs, advanced technology and personalisation of education.

The second horizontal priority and the first topic are aligned with the third objective, which aims to grant access to specific hardware and software while building essential digital skills which are far from being fully developed by the target children.

Developing creativity skills is to be considered a contribution to both the first horizontal priority and the school education priority: on the one hand the addressees, due to the combined barriers they face, have not been able to effectively work on their creative capacity; on the other hand, by relying on creative processes, the consortium also points at motivation as an essential pivotal element to tackle learning disadvantages.

Specific objective number five is directly linked to the second topic and reflects a huge need of the target populations in terms of access to information, awareness and proactiveness towards environmental issues.

The school priority is also in line with the sixth specific objective, one of the most challenging ones, given the socioeconomic and cultural background of the addressees, whose accomplishment will have a considerable impact on the overall project results.

Finally, in an international framework, the English language is to be considered an indispensable multidisciplinary tool to achieve all the objectives linked to the selected priorities and topics.
